This sprawling Southwestern-style resort is 3 miles from the TPC of Scottsdale golf course, and 9.8 miles from Downtown Scottsdale. Classic rooms have balconies or patios, and come with flat-screen TVs, WiFi (resort fee) and coffeemakers. Suites add separate sitting areas with pull-out sofas, and may have wet bars, kitchenettes and/or fireplaces.
Whispering Rock is located at the base of South Mountain in Phoenix’s South Mountain Preserve. The resort’s name refers to hundreds of petroglyphs left by American Indians. Visitors looking to buy, sell or rent timeshare resales will find Area attractions include the Phoenix Zoo, baseball spring training camps, desert Jeep tours, hot-air balloon rides, and tours of the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and Mexico.
The daily resort fee includes a local shuttle, and access to the spa’s whirlpool, steam room and sauna (surcharge for treatments), as well as the fitness center. Amenities include outdoor pools and hot tubs, including a lazy river, golf, tennis, and 10 restaurants and bars.
